The Lakefront Bird Blitz Chases Off the Polar Vortex

With the Polar Vortex loosening its grip on Northeast Ohio, Sunday was a perfect morning for Cleveland Metroparks’ Lakefront Bird Blitz led by naturalist and birding extraordinaire, Jen Brumfield. About 40 birding enthusiasts took in the sights of ducks, gulls, and even a couple of bald eagles from lower and upper Edgewater Park. Here’s a look at the scene.
