President Trump’s proposed federal budget for 2018 drastically reduces (or “aims to eliminate”) funding for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In response, the National Council of EPA Locals #238, of the American Federation of Government Employees, has launched "Save the U.S. EPA,” a grassroots campaign designed to make the public, the media, and our legislators aware of the EPA’s public health mission and the potentially drastic impacts of these cuts.
