Ride and Learn: The Future of Riverfront Development

How do projects like the Ohio and Erie Canalway Towpath, the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail, and Irishtown Bend affect the city's relationship to its waterfront? How should areas like Scranton Peninsula be developed to take advantage of the trail and the towpath to retain current residents and attract new ones?

Join the City Club of Cleveland for a fun, flat ride through the industrial Flats and the Scranton Road Peninsula starting and ending at Merwin's Wharf. After the ride, enjoy snacks, beer, and a panel discussion moderated by Plain Dealer Urban Design & City Planning reporter Steve Litt, on the potential for development along the Cuyahoga River.
