The Cleveland Rowing Foundation will host a major regatta, the Head of the Cuyahoga (HOTC), on Saturday September 16, 2017. The Cuyahoga River provides a unique opportunity for rowers to navigate challenging turns over a 4800 meter course that starts near ArcelorMittal and finishes near Merwin's Wharf. The HOTC attracts over 2,000 competitors from 11 states in high school, collegiate and adult divisions in both sweep and sculling events. A spectator village will be located on the Cleveland Rowing Foundation grounds.
