Today is River Day!
/Today is Cuyahoga River Restoration's River Day, where 29 different events and activities give you an opportunity to spend some time along the Cuyahoga River and its system of wetlands, tributaries and, of course, Lake Erie, where the river flows into.. What have you done with (and for) your river lately?
At 11 a.m. Cuyahoga River Restoration will hold a press conference at the Flats East Bank (East Bank Riverfront Promenade near Alley Cat) where new River Mile signs designed by local artists, to be installed along the Cuyahoga River Ship Channel this summer, will be unveiled. Meet the artists, and learn about safe paddling and boating from the Coast Guard and members of the Cuyahoga River Safety Task Force. If you haven't seen the video, check it out below!
