Red Line Greenway Beautification on 4/2
/You've heard about the Red Line Greenway but have you actually seen it for yourself? We're talking about the proposed 2 1/2 mile right-of-way running alongside RTA's Red Line from the Zone Recreation Center to downtown Cleveland. This Saturday is a perfect opportunity for you to learn about the Greenway as Rotary Club of Cleveland is hosting a beautification project from 9 am - 12 noon on Saturday, April 2. They are looking for volunteers to help plant 2,000 hydrangeas donated by Petitti Garden Center. Volunteers should meet near the storage containers under the Lorain Ave. Bridge next to the W. 25th RTA station. Questions? Call (440) 537-6461 or e-mail redlinegreenway@gmail.com
Garden Manager and Volunteer Coordinator Lisa Holly gives you the scoop here:
