Surfing Cleveland's Lake Erie Shore
/As Northeast Ohio woke up to a blanket of snow last Saturday morning, members of the Rocky River Paddle Group were checking out NOAA's marine weather report and they liked what they saw: 15-20 knot winds from the northwest were generating 4-6 foot waves on Lake Erie. Over the day a mix of 40 paddle surfers, kiteboarders and surfers descended upon Cleveland Metroparks Edgewater Park to get their thrill on in Lake Erie's 42 degree waters.
