A mild winter on Lake Erie meant an earlier than normal kick-off of the 2017 Great Lakes Shipping season as Interlake Steamship Company's Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder tug/barge sailed from its winter layover location in Erie, PA to Cleveland, OH on February 28th. After spending a blustery Wednesday at the Port of Cleveland's Bulk Terminal docks, the Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder made its first run of 2017 up the Cuyahoga River Thursday morning with a load of iron ore bound for ArcelorMittal's steelmaking plant
